Some may already know the car, but thought it was worthy of posting up

A friend of mine Chris who is part of GMH Autos at Cheadle finished getting his Astra back on the road a couple of weeks ago.

It was fully re painted, rust treated and refurbished at the tail end of last year with its original XE still fitted, but after new year the Coscast head went porous,

just as a bit of proof that Coscast do go porous.

So after that the car came off the road with a rather pissed off owner with the amount of money he had just spent refurbishing it to near concours condition on the outside and not being able to drive it with a knackered head.

Then a month or so ago, i heard he had bought a Let to stick in.

This is how the car is now, i know LET's have been stuck in Astras many times before, but i think this one stands fairly high above the rest. The attention to detail is superb with the graphics and all the bumpers and trims refurbished, and the conversion is very tidy, Cav T airbox, no butchered wiring, MK3 Astra Dash and Interior amongst alot of other little bits.

Probably the only MK2 Astra I would want to own and know that its completely rust free and will stay that way with the amount of wax oyl on it.

Awesome, awesome car.

Bought a few things off Chris in the Past, even his "run-around's" are usually mint.

Been waiting to see what happens with the GTE as last tiem he spoke of it, he'd given up!!
