Anyone else get them? Anything that requires changing direction quickly so tennis, badminton, squash, football etc after about 30 minutes I get really painful blisters on the balls of my feet, and I have to sit it out to stop the pain. Is there anything I can do to stop these appearing? I already wear properly thick socks and play in trainers with thick soles, tightly done up too.
Anyone got any tricks?

Try 2 pairs of socks, shorties under football socks.
Means the socks are taking the sliding instead of your skin. It won't stop it completly, but it will help a lot.
Suffer the same playing indoor footie.

Burst the blisters, and put Vinegar in them Nips for a couple of seconds, but then it's all good to carry on playing! My feet are like leather now

wear the correct footwear. ie. moulded studs on footy pitch when the ground is fairly hard. proper tennis shoes with very light grip and proper pivot points.

doubling up on socks will probly help, Ive been looking into getting some proper shoes for squash (most played atm) but anything that is specialist is a bit expensive, dont play competitively only for a bit of exercise during the week but will keep looking around

Don't ever wear thick socks or two pairs of socks when playing sports. Make sure you have correctly fitting footwear which is a snug and correct fit. Make sure you wear some good quality cotton socks, not shitty nylon ones. If you still have major problems then check out http://profeet.com. They do my ski boots, but they also do trainers...

Found out what the studd is, apparently zinc oxide tape is what alot of army lads use. But make sure its the stuff that is white both sides and now pink like a plaster on one side.
Gonna get some of this myself and see if its any good. Assuming it is as if alot of army lads use it when they do silly amount of runs and hikes in army boots it must be good stuff.
