aw11 is the code for the mk1 mr2 just in case.
anyone owned one of these? i was watching wheeler dealers yesterday and thought "i want one of these" i'm not too keen on mk2 mr2's, there too heavy and big and the mk1's handle better, they only weigh 975kg's with a nice wee 120bhp 1.6 twin cam, back to the point anyone owned one of these? would you say they were or

awesome cars if you find a good one can be abit of a nightmare to work on tho, i drove my mates one on the track at cadwell a few weeks abcka nd loved it. Fun drift car is not something i would call them tho, you will be facing the other way before you realise whats happened, due to the length of them.

too right the engine's are bullet proof aswell but parts are expensive as you could imagine on wheeler dealers an alternator was £250 or something

Had one, didnt enjoy it.

Drift is totally the wrong word for them, mine was totally unstable in wet weather, went sideways once on a roundabout, ended up going off down the wrong exit, on the wrong side of the road.

So glad i got a 2.0 16v manta after that so much easier to control.

oh, and clutch change is a complete fuck on, engine out job.

T-bars are cool, but i had to replace the seals.

Leather trim is nice.

need more power & decent diff imo.
