use your horn alot i found works a treat
this also works better if you have a stupidly loud air horn, the dixie tune is optional but you'll appreciate the difference

get one of your mates to drive if possible, city driving is much more fun if you aren't behind the wheel

Just watch the road markings mate. It's all pretty straight forward in Edinburgh. If all else fails, do as Andy said and use your horn constantly. Also put your face up to the window and scream your lungs out, people will see your snarling face blanked out by condensation and let you past.

Put taxi stickers on side of you're car, you can drive like a twat then and no one will hassle you.

but seriously, things will go alot smoother if you just chill the fuck out. i always get stressed to the extreme driving round liverpool/manchester. just accept its going to take a while, get some good tunes on, roll the windows down and have a laugh at other peoples expense

i do hate city driving lol, in the city I live in, I drive across the m4 to avoid the city in most parts lol. Cardiff is another story and I hate it lol.... I generally hate city driving so much I will catch the train or let someone else do it. You always find in the bigger citys there as so many cameras ready to get you. Even yellow hatch cameras wtf lol. Only tip I can give is be ready to swing your steering wheel anywhere, be quick on the gas and be ready to brake at all times lol

Should cut your license up then. i don't want to be traveling at xxx mph on a motorway with someone who never drives on them and may be dangerous
