anyone seen a good prive for one or any deal's ? two of my local jet wash place's have closed, the 3rd around here is about as strong as a OAP's piss
it time to invest 
oh and budjet is about £100-150

Pressure washer is far better than regular washing. I had a Karcher one at my mums, just a cheap one but it did the job. You don't need to spend hundreds.

I think Halfords have them on deal the the moment. Not sure what the figures stack up to, but some decent reductions?

A couple of weeks ago they were on offer in halfords. I got a k399 from there for £100. Does the job and powers my foam lance fine.

I used to work in a car wash and the ones there were even more powerful. The only paint that came off was already damaged before it got washed. Also if you get really tight up on weatherseal ie. bottom of the sills etc. you could mark them, but you would need to be trying.

The guy in halfords tryed selling me a £80 one, and with every point he brought up about it beeing better that the £30, he was proved wrong

got a cheap macallister one from b&q £30 with lance and foam lance included
does the job the foam lance doesnt have a dilution nozzle which is its one downfall
