I booked each week and not really in advance as the instructor lived around the corner and I just arranged per lesson basis. About 20, 1 hour lessons I think. Passed first time, about the same for the bike.

I've had around 20 1hour lessons so far, instructor says i should be ready in a couple of weeks.
Passed my theory first time, been looking at booking tests and they've all been no more than a 2 week wait..
Hoping to pass my test first time, it must be awefull paying the £48.50 and then getting told you've failed
