Escort, not that impressed yet. Old one done those speeds with less power.
Whats it boost up to then if its "only" boosting to 2.1 bar?
Wonder what the 0-100, and 100-150 times were, and also the 0-190mph times were (think the Skyline tuners are doing it in around 13-15 seconds).
As said, more impressed by the little tigga, with loads less money spent. Although the escort will corner as well

Rick, that's wrong anyway, Rod has the record, I'm sure Martin did 196.something anyway.

I know its wrong but i was just quoting reylands site.
He has said it would have gone faster but the cross winds were realld bad so he had to let off. I will get his quote off passionford. 1 Min.

On my second run I launched it like a girl managing 6.9 to 100 (old car 6.06) but by the time I got to the high 180's the car was moving about far too much for my liking due to nasty side winds... Anyhow whilst filling my pants I kept my foot in until a second or so after I saw 200 come up on the stack... the result?

Oh sorry, a few mph out, that makes all the difference......
MADRods has done far faster anyway on a much smaller budget. So its not the fastest cossie, MadRods has done 201mph.
I am not knocking the Reyland car, but i need to see the relevent times (mentioned above) instead of the pub talk times (power, top speed, 0-60).

So you have some idea of rods budget then in comparison to martins? No did not think so, and its 206.1mph from rod's cossie.
O and while we are at it i would like to point out that at those sorts of speeds it takes a lot more power to go just a little faster.

I'm supprised Daimo isn't arguing that he has done maths and worked out that a Tigra can't go that fast.
