What are the laws on car tyres for mot's?

On some wheels i bought yesterday 3 wheels are 205/55/15 but one is 205/50/15. If the car was to go in for an mot what would happen?

That size tyre probably won't be ideal on your Corsa

It'll fail because it's not safe, which is also the reason that you shouldn't drive the car like that. You can't afford to spin and crash any more than you can afford a tyre.

How can it be really dangerous though as the aspect ratio is only 5% smaller?

Worth the risk?

It'll make a big difference to steering I'd imagine as it's like you're tracking being out

If you need to slam on you really don't want different tyres on each side.

Im a fucking idiot, when i got my wheels refurbed today there was infact 2 205/50's.

So 2 new tyres were bought and they scrubbed so old ones back on and a refund.
