A lad at college thinks his astra is pretty fast, keeps going on about it handling amazing etc
He only has the 1.6 8v astra g.
Would there be much in it between his car and my 1.4 sport?

from my experience 1.4 16V corsas are just faster than 1.6 16V astras. so i "assume" the 8V are slower

Astra g is the MK4 isnt it.
If so your sport would smoke him all day long lol. Those things are shit slow.

Ive got one they arent fast like, wouldnt say it was shit slow, but then I dont say its fast, me mums SXi C feels quicker than it. End of the day none of them are going to be "fast".

The '93 1.2 8v corsa only came with 45bhp!!!

my 1.2 16v sxi was faster than a mates done up 1.4 16v astra.
so i'd say easy peasy

Mine really isnt that bad, and I got it after having a V6 Vectra, ive had cars from 1.2 upto 3.0 and I wouldnt class it as the slowest ive driven. Its liveable with, if your on about a traffic light grand prix then its not going to be lighting up tyres but for normal driving its sound.
