Polycarbo Windows:

Who does the best price for these?

How are they mounted?

I want them solid state, perhaps with a slider on drivers side only?

Sliders - how are these closed, i mean, kept closed?

Do you get 4 side windows & rear screen in kit?

Rear window heated or not?

Anyone got them, and any pics of the fixings?

Track Parts

Fibreglass panels, like tailgate, are these only usable with pins, or can std lock be used?

Carbon inner arch panels - any good? do the bumpers not use the std panels as a mounting point?

Car is a stripped out track / weekend car with cage, xe, coilovers etc etc, im looking to make it lighter, and other ideas?

Ta.

For £250 there is a company that can supply them clear or tinted.

However, i can't fine them in my Favorites. So if someone else knows, please post up the link.

polycarb will scratch more than lexan.... there are others too... basically strength and scratch resistance differ.

Thickness is something to think about too. If you are racing the car is their a stated minimum thickness?

It will be used on the road aswell at some point, mainly weekends, so are there any issues there?

Scratching, i assume the magority of that happens when winding, but im going to fix them in place?

Or are they really easy to scratch?

Trying to find that out myself

I assume the rears all fit into the std rubbers.

Fronts depend, you can fit them into the std winder system, but i hear they scratch easy.

Im looking to fix them so they dont move, so im guessing sealer in the rubbers around sides & top, then rivets through the bottom lip of the door (where the bottom rubber goes)?

Or i could be totally wrong!
