Tried searching to see if this has been posted already on here, but i find the search facility useless!
Anyway:
Check this site out, copied from another car site i use.
Click on the 'request history' tab on the left.
Enter the reg. no. and the MOT certificate no. Or just the Reference number from your V5C document.
It then gives you details of all the MOT's, when and where they were carried out and also it gives you the details of anything that has been flagged up in the past as an advisory.
Could come in handy when purchasing second hand cars......

Yeah it could come in handy, buying a second hand car, you can obviously check to see if the work has been done that they advised, or at least try to check.
Not all MOT stations will pick the same stuff up but still might come in handy.
