for the money you would spend on a turbo conversion done properly you could have a much better more reliable spec engine on tb's.

I have built 6-7 x16xe's on tb's and nothing comes close to the fun factor of a well spec'd high revving smallblock.

I asked a question before about what i would get for what money and you said to get TBs.

I can do a drive in, drive out fully fitted and mapped setup on an otherwise standard engine in 1 day (9am - 9pm)

The noise is also a big plus

Throttle bodies are faaaar more useable than turbo conversions in FWD cars. and as Dave says, for the money you would end up with a far better engine on throttle bodies, and it would be more reliable.

i think i would have to get my engine fully rebuilt first. the last thing I would want is to pay all that money out and something happens.

Dave- Thats pretty impressive, would be a busy day. lol

Dean, if you wanna weigh up the options, Dave is your man. He's done a lot of smallblocks and knows his stuff.
