I remember that last one in the news etc. The bloke who kicked the kid was special needs/Down syndrome iirc. Bit of a tough one really. The kid wasn't exactly hurt by it so OTT by the Dad imo.

you're right ben he does look a little downy jr. that means fuck all though. i know of a lad in duckinfield who is downs syndrome and he is fully aware of his actions. he's like a real life internet troll. goes round town acting up to provoke people knowing that nothing will happen to him.

Yeah. deffo carer or parent.
It depends on the level of severity of Downs he has tbh. Some people are more severely affected by it and he may have been uncomfortable with the kid running around so reacted like that, not realising that it was wrong.

yeah but at the time you aren't thinking that. i remember chinning a lad who threw a water balloon at my mates 2 year old sun. the lad was maybe 16 ish so it's not my proudest memory. in the heat of the moment though it felt like the right reaction.

Yeah course. Don't get me wrong, I'd do similar. Anyone does anything to my kids and i'd be windmilling, but I reckon if it was obvious the guy was Downs, which it is as I can tell from the CCTV alone, i'd probably resist dropping him.

I agree with you gary tbh, we had the tests and not a chance in hell we were keeping little one if tests came back to downs. Its not, not letting the kid have a chance of life its ruining your life. no more social, give up your job and become a fulltime carer of your kid.
