heya guys.. right some of you may know i bought a new car few weeks ago a 56 plate corsa c from vauxhall and part of the deal was to refurb the wheels and a few marks etc painted up. anyway they have had it a week and on wednesday i phoned up to see if it was ready i got told they are checking it over you can have it at 20 this was at 120 phoned again at 2:30 to make sure nope not till 4! so i went up at 4 they were still cleaning it! at 4:45ish finally got it! when i looked 1 of the wheel studs was loose the wheels are rough! runs in the paint etc overspray on the drivers side window (they werent even painting that side) bit of overspray on the boot! anyway i want them to swap over alloys so they can do them, i dont want them to have the car again! but they wont do that and they have booked it in for the 18th for another week they are giving me a courtsy car again but i want my car not theres

sooo question is what would you guys do?

Go back down there and tell them to sort it out. Say you agreed to the work to be carried out and its not satisfactory and they have clearly messed up various parts due to overspray.

Show them the problems and ask them to recktify them asap!!!

when i bought mine i had a simmaler thing with the wheels, i asked for them to be refarebed but they did a gud job sooo.. i gess thats no help

if i was you tho, id ask them to sort it proply untill your happy with it coz at the end of the day its your car and your paying for it, thats my view any way

technically the car is yours now so its the same as the work getting done at any bodyshop so if its not satisfactory get it fixed or complain to the manager etc
