Behave no one uses a Loutus Carlton in anger, they are ALL polished and kept under covers for years. My mates dad has one and before he took it out last year it hadnt been used for almost 8 years.

I'd also like to point out she can't be that thick if she hung the arse out of it....

Oh and I would hang out of her any day of the week

I dunno I am warming up to 5th gear much more car content than Top Gear.

THe last season of Top gear was pretty average apart from the three light weight super car one which was superb!

top gear is allways soooooooo much better tha 5th gear, which looks like its made by children

anyway, intresting post from PH

The difference between an LC on 98 RON juice and on 95 RON juice is 25 bhp

It (The "heritage" Carlton went up against 4 other Lotus Carlton/Omegas and a VXR8 in a recent issue of Total Vauxhall - the LC's were all owned by ABS members and they hammered the VXR8..... The "heritage" carlton was noticably off the pace (by all observations on the day) what better car for VX to supply to fifth gear to use to prove the "king is dead long live the king"

Now if the LC was running 98 RON then they have almost certainly turned down the boost on the "heritage" Carlton in order to prolong it's life - by all accounts they (VX) are a bit concerned about it getting broken so are very fussy about who gets to "test" the car and under what circumstances.

VBH is (supposedly) a member of another forum I am a member on.

Seen a post from 'her' once or twice, but not convinced its the real deal.
