When buying an import, wat kind of steps do you have to take to get it registered over here? I know about the mot/sva test side of things, just not too sure about the process of actually registering the vehicle. Anyone help me out?

if its over 10 years old it will not need an sva test just registering then an mot

how easy is it to register? Is it just a case of going to your local dvla office and filling in the apropriate forms?

tbh prop easier going thorugh a company that deals with them its easier and its not that much more than you would think to get them to do it all

I know a couple of people who have family members who used to/can import for me, Ive had a brief word with one of them and he thinks he can get hold of the car I want for about 2-3k cheaper than what they are advertsied for over here

I hope so Ive got about 6 weeks before i know for sure i can afford the car i want. Sorry folks but its staying under wraps for now
