What happens if you cant find it? My tax is due tomorrow. Also do I need my log book? I remember putting it all in one place where I wouldnt lose it, consequently, I cant remember where that place is.

duplicates are a tenner from any mot station
and you dont need log book to tax just the reminder, mot and insurance

if u do it online u get a reference number, i done it and ahd to drive 4days with the number on my old disk, it getts checked if u get stopd and will show if u have purchased tax or no

That is iligal  by law a tax disc must be displayed on the vehicle  it is up to you to tax your vehicle on time hence why you can apply for a new 1 before the old one is out so you have enough time for it to arrive if doing it online

Wrong if you read the back off a tax disc it clearly says it must be displayed
If you havent got a new one in time its your own fault as you can apply for a new one weeks before the old one expires

tax it on the net it takes five days to come
you have fourteen days from when your tax runs out to renew it
