Started to do a mock up today on some new bits. .... seems ok but nto sure on the angle of the dangle on the turbo flange ,, not sure if its right as i would of thought it should be flat and not angled. seems to fit decent enough but could maybe fit alittle better if it was flat?

lots of other boring jobs to do now

ahh yes forgot about that .. yeah got another flange tigged onto it in the end , couldnt find fvckall anything like the one that was on it as you know its an odd size and shape . not what i wanted but if it works then all is good

if it cracks then il just get another exhaust houseing ,

i dont think it will as ive seen turbos welded to manifolds etc and wastegate welded in the past and all has been fine so its a risk il take

not really done much lately tbh but thought id update it

got my feed/return pipes pretty much sorted and managed to fit the actuator in a slightly diff place so it clears the radiator ... if ive measured everything right il have about 1cm of clearance .

might have to start getting a move on soon and start orgering new hoses, sort manifodl out and a few other little bits so i can try and fit it all.

ps does any1 know the dia of a c20let afm ? save me going and looking

deciced id minced enough over this now so i had a go at fitting it all yesterday after work and omg! it went to work that morning and i drove it home the same day! i was amazed , thought id be sure to find some problems but all seems well 'so far' .. more crap pics as it pissing it down outside and its nearly as black as night in my rents garage.

only running .6 bar at the mo as i still need to do a few things i forgot .. like order a flexi for the exhaust and my afm pipe didnt go together as id hope so i need to order a few bit for that . then i supose it would be time to get it on the rolling road.

and a few random pics of a friends trackday at cadwell i went to last weekend.

was lairy as fook when the track was wet.
