being as i have booked another trackday i had a couple of issues to sort . one of them being how loud the exhaust is , it reached 105db and only just got on track so just incase i get a grumpy sound tester man i thought id do some ghetto mods
go go gadget db killer

other than change oil and get tyres sorted its rdy for the day, only thing that worrys me alittle is it smokes when its cold and today it seemed to be abit worse . hope it holds out . cant be arsed to take the head off yet really.

well i said i couldnt be arsed to take the head off but today off it came

its been smoking when cold for nearly 2 years! but only the otherday it seems to be smoking for longer ie untill temp gauge is upto 90 . im under the impression its either the head or the turbo so there gonna get a seeing too . alltho the pistons look alittle odd not sure if its quite normal or not ,

my last engine looked the same and didnt smoke so im assuming this isnt the cause *ie worn bores/pistons* as there is abit of 'slap' .. but not sure enough for me to be bothered about as my last engine was worse and as said it didnt smoke.

on a mission now to get it built up and running ok before the weekend
