Why would you want to claim because you came out a pub and fell, that just makes you look stupid, what is it with the world these days

Be more carful next time!

Don't agree with people claiming for stuff like this. If it happened to me, that last thing i'd be thinking of is how to make money out of it.

Plus the fact you never reported it, or went to hospital, there are no official records of it happening. So, no i doubt there is anything you can do.

ps. if you stepped off the curb onto the road, then it'd be for the council to deal with, not the landlord/lady.

Not really much you can do now, as you can't prove that you weren't drunk and fell on your own accord mate.

Fuck sake, what is the world coming to

Why can't people just accept that they made a mistake and leave it there. Why go trying to grab compensation FFS.

You do realise that people like you claiming for things they don't deserve is why many public events don't even happen any more because the organisers can't afford the huge insurance fees - if people like you didn't claim for stupid things they could have prevented themselves the premiums wouldn't be nearly as high.

But you're the one "jumping on the bandwagon" and adhering to the "where there's blame" culture.

For fucks sake, you made an arse of yourself - you would have been marginally over the drink/drive limit and would by the courts be deemed to have had impaired actions, irrelevant of how you felt!

It's the same as all these "whiplash" claims - I'd love for them to meet someone with REAL whiplash - its a debilitating condition but too easy to fake. REAL whiplash is something you never fully recover from!

My friend went through one of those claims companies when she had an accident in a go-kart.

I had to go to court to be a witness.

She won and got loads of compensation.

When it came to paying you for being a witness, they disappeared and wouldn't respond to emails/letters.

So I never got my expenses for attending court for them.

I'd never have anything to do with those types of companies again.
