Ive been to Puerto Rico in GC. Its nice, was only with the family like. Lots of nice restaurants to eat at, 2 good beaches to choose from, a mcdonalds . We went twice.

Depends what kinda holiday your after really, the town is quite busy at night so might not be ideal if you have a young en.

If you're thinking about the Canary Islands Playa Blanca in Lanzarote would suit you down to the ground, especially with a little one

Yes i have been to PDI, Tenerife/Fuertaventura were better IMO, esp out of season

The Yumbo centre in PDI is yes

And our hotel was just behind it

The Irish bit (Aguera Roca?) is the best for night life out of season IMO

yup stayed in playa des ingles, brilliant place but we had a car so traveled around the island a bit, as there is some awesome places if you travel in land - like vineyards etc.
Only thing i recommend, if you are driving, is to stick to the main motorway that runs to the East of the island - we took the "scenic" route on the west and it took us around 4hrs due to the winding moutain roads which are pretty dodgy in some places (although you do get to see a lot of the non-commericial side of the island).

Pretty hot though and worth visiting

I went on a Club 18-30s holiday. Its a nice place, i just hated the 18-30s part
