For my second car, budget around £1.5k. Was looking at 306 1.9TDs, quite like them.

Insurance musnt be too high, £860 on a 1.2 8v corsa already.

Fire away, any suggestions

There is no point in changing imho. You haven't even passed yet (or have you? )

You car looks mint, it is fast enough for a 1st time driver. Wait at least 1 year, build up some NCB, then change.

Nope, not yet.

Its really that slow that even for me its too slow

Can get a 306 1.9TD, much faster car, nicer to drive, cheaper to insure, probably less to run.

Just bored with mine now, think because of all the work i put in it, i just hate the fucker

Aye - I'll probably be 22 before I get a new car, and will still have the 12v. Think of the car I could get

Knocked the price up a bit, roughly totalled how much I spent to get it on the road + making it look like a GSI, was on the wrong side of £2k

ive had a 306, i still to this day think my corsa was better on juice than my D-Turbo. Tax is dear aswell count that in mind. and trying to find a decent miler D-turbo for 1500quid you will have to spend months finding 1.

modifed parts can be tricky to find if your so use to this website, ive got a focus now and i cant find the parts i want for shit and other forms are crap.

nice comfy car, mile eaters, engines are strong, look good, big inside, good handeling.

electrics can be a problem, make sure you get 1 after 96 (headgasket problem cured), rear ends can snap in lift oversteer as i found out
