Is this a good time to go robbing? Since all the police men are walking in protest around London?

annoys me this crap. same with the fire brigade lot going on strike. i know they do us all a service, save lives and put their lives on the line etc......but who's forcing them to?........nobody is the answer.
if they dont want to do that job then dont do it. its simple.
heard a cop on the radio before and he said he became a cop because he wanted to protect the public, and because he does he deserves a big pay increase.
so basically his motivation to become a cop has turned into his method of guilting people into supporting him in the quest for more money.

I had my windae panned at the weekend, first time i've ever encountered the stereotypical Glaswegian bampot mentality. If i had seen them do it i'd have taken their jaw off
They left my Marvin Gaye and Phil Collins albums, strange

i think your missing the point. no one forces them to put their lives on the line, as with every career path in this country its voluntry (Nation service...now THATs a deep question). They wanted that job, with the life threatening risks, that why they went through the training, did the courses and work the shifts.
they never complain about risk their life, for them its the "norm" as it would be in Irag and Afgan for our troops.
what their complaining about it pay.....not condidtions
they only asking for fair pay and i say good on 'em for tryin!

I agree with the choice to leave and do something else but don't forget, if someone has given their career to the Police then they're going to take a cut moving in to any other trade.
The major reason I agree with this one is that they were lied to - firstly they were told public sector workers were not getting an increase because they couldn't afford it, then some were. The other industries which can strike, namely education, got it.
Does appear that the those not in the position to do that were taken advantage of.

read my post again. i clearly said that i'd just heard a police officer on the radio stating the reason he thinks they deserve better pay. dont think i've missed any point tbh.
