We need a proper Vauxhall testing day.

LC vs Monaro LS6, vs Monaro SC500, vs, VXR8, vs VXR8 SC, vs Vectra VXR, Vs Astra VXR, vs VXR220 vs VX220T vs Astra GSi (mk4) vs Astra GSi (mk3) vs Astra GTE (mk2) etc....... All performance vauxhalls. How cool a day out would that be.....

Uknow a car that rarley gets mentioned as a really tarmac warrior, and if it had came to the UK, well you'd have probably died

Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette.

JR, why don't you get more friendly with Dave? Yopu 2 would get on well, he loves his vauxhalls and hes a top top guy. Send him a message or something. I think he still attends the VXLSCC meets.

Speak to Nikki with the Corsa VXR on here as she still speaks to him too.

Yeah he does still come on here.

You should speak to him, you two would get on well. AS i say, hes a top guy as well, a bit like Mr Mitchell, always happy to help.

He sorted Donnas flywheel out late at night, without payment (shes already drawn her limit for the day ), and let us send him a cheque.

Top bloke, and anyone reading, if you need any Vauxhalls sorting out, you should really contact V-Tuning, especially over con artists such as Regal (not that far from each other really, hours drive).

Well no, its a Vauxhall engine, tuned by lotus. But the engine is a vauxhall 3.0 24v unit.
Interior is Vauxhall and Cartlon.
The shell is Vauxhall.

It's another example of a GM collaberation between marques that they seem to do so well. They just put the wrong badges on the car to make it cooler

Lovely cars, i really want one

The car is officially a Lotus as it has a Lotus type designation of 104. The base car (a fully built "earmarked" GSI which was then delivered to Lotus and stripped and then re-built) was only the base for the car.
You could then say, well why were the cars only sold and serviced through specialist Vauxhall dealers? Well thats because in essence the car was only built by GM as a "hey look what we can do" type excercise since GM had just bought Lotus, so creating something to give a halo effect on the Vauxhall brand hence the Vauxhall/Opel badges. I'd say it kinda did that back in the day

Although it is essentially based on the GSi most of the parts were bespoke to the Lotus including the engine blocks etc

PS. No probs Daimo
