Hey guys
just wanted some advice, what happens if the wind causes someone elses object to hit a car? Would the owner of the object hitting the car be liable to fix the damage caused by it??
Just wanted to know since just now some guy called me sayin the wind picked up a metal sheet and it sorta scratched his car.
My thought on this matter would be he cant do sh-t since its an act of nature and isnt anyones fault.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

I had my car parked up outside my old work and a sheet came off the roof and hit the side of my car, denting and scratching it badly. Spoke to the fella who was renting the unit and he said take it up with the owners, couldnt be arsed to be honest so nothing got done. Can he prove it was your piece of metal?

well he works nextdoor to my business and the sheet was on the floor by the wall underneath a shelter . His car happened to be parked in the shelter and due to heavy winds today, seems the sheet hit his car :S only scratched it.
