Yo Skittles.
Im selling my 106 gti and im getting a flat, moving in with the girlfriend etc - You know the score
So im looking at a new car, Now im 18 but will be 19 in april will have a years no claims to my name so im looking for a nice sensible car that is nice to look at? Quite nippy and obviously is quite economical
So far i have looked at:
Civic Type S - Quite Nice - Jap Wont Break
Mini One - Quite Cool
Got about 6-7 grand to play with 
Suggestions Men?

You might aswell call it a day and get something with 5 doors for when she gets pregnant.

i cant be doing with 5 doors honestly lol
And all the cool 5 door cars dont really offer cool insurance for 18 year olds yeah? lol

I've got a Mini Cooper and they arent exactly mega fast but I wouldnt like to go for anything slower. See if you can stretch to the Cooper.

afaik the One has a 1.4 and the Cooper has the 1.6 engine.
Also I'm sure there are alot of cosmetic changes which I ahve no idea about.

Aye Will's right, the Mini One has a 1.4 95bhp engine. Going from your GTi to a One would probably break my heart tbh.

Not as bad as going from an 293 bhp MR2 turbo to a Corsa diesel

a lad i went to school with 18 0 no claims and 1 crash fully comp i think ti was £1,300
