Had one of these for a few days now...Must say that I am very very impressed.
I havent been a fan of the C30. Marmite styling, fairly bland for the unconventional design and fairly lost in its sector.
After driving this particular C30, I have changed my mind. Not across the board, but for this guise and engine only.
Good power (same engine as ST, 5 cylinder burble), if not a little dissapointing.
The car weighs more than my nans bungalow, and doubled with the extensive and heavy safety features of the Volvo its quick but not blinding.
Its well balanced, with relatively good steering attributes.
This car has every single option box ticked (£30k+ OTR), even down to the blind spot (BLIS) gizmo that lights up automatically on the interior mirror base.
Interior is great with the R-Design trim, but first impressions are that the materials used wont age well. The leather looks slightly tired, and the plastics used can be damaged easily.
Took a couple of snaps earlier. Fuel consumption isnt great - approx 260 miles to a tank at the very best.

Usually seen on Police Volvos:

My Verdict? I like it.8) got it for another 3 weeks too.

Nice, expensive for what's basically a Focus though. T5 is the only engine to get in the S40 and C30, the diesel ones are Peugeot-Citroen design.

It's a Volvo with a T5 engine. It's definitely not made for economy, which shows in them all.
The C30 has grown on me. I'd have one if I had the coin.

Great looking cars, but VASTLY overpriced for what they offer in terms of the competition, and it still is only a volvo (Made by machines, driven by the dummy ).
