US is going close to a recession so he decided to give everyone a tax rebate of $800 as research shows if you get a decent tax rebate you go out and blow it on TV’s etc and buy things you would not buy.

TBH I know Bush gets the brint of these ideas, but hardly any of them will be made by him - he is just the face for the big group of people making the decisions.

its $800 for indiviuals and $1600 for married couples.
I think it is a good idea its is only 1% of GNP they are giving back and if its respent most people will spend slighty more say if a TV is $850 your spend the 50 dollers you would not of and they will get it back in tax off the companys in the end in taxable profits.

No as the wife does not need to work to claim it. Where as you have to work if your single.
