Just had a few insurance quotes. Not had own insurance for about 3 years so all NCB out of date
Postcode is sort of ok, i'm 24, have access to other cars, no accidents, driving for 7 years ( ), 15k annual milage, 5k business milage:
Was thinking about a mk2 golf gti, 1990 1.8 8v, worth about £1k:
£500ish
But also been looking at a3's as can get a half decent 1.8t sport for about £2-3k.
A3 1.8 t sport worth £3k - £550 fully comp (think that's quite good tbh )

Classic policy for the Golf would bring that down to about £250 Tom.

Depends, a mk2 would be fine though, my car falls into the mk2 band, which started with the A plate, mine's 3 years into that and still qualified.
