Get a grip people... They're only fucking bred for eating. They're not cute little pets.

It's a business... To meet supply and offer at a affordable price, it has to be done this way.

at least the male chicks were being used i.e. dog food / animal food, rather than just chucked away.


If every chicken / egg was delivered from free range (i.e. if battery hens / battery farms were banned in uk) - all it'd do is crush the uk industry, as UK would struggle to deliver the demand and do it cheap enough.

The supermarkets would just import.
