my corsa c, key fob has just stopped unlocking and locking my doors.
went out this morning and it as fine, came back to the car and it didnt work, changed the battery but still nothing, any ideas people.

any loose connections inside the key?
did you have to program it or anything?

same happened on me mums clio. Was a dodgy sensor.
Don't know if it what's wrong with yours but an angle to look at?

both fobs come with car when we bought it, both worked fine now for nearly a year. just stopped working this afternoon, didnt drop it or anything. light still flashes on the fob when you press the button.

Again, same with me mums clio. fob pressed, light flashed on fob. Still nothing.
Seems a similar problem.

was that a sensor in the car mate or the fob that went wrong. as my other fob still works fine.

is it possible that the key could have just malfunctioned and it just needs reprogramming, and can you do it yourself

Get in your car
put key in ignition
hold the unlock or lock button
turn the ignition on and wait a few seconds
let go of the button press it again while ignition is on
this shoud sync your key again
this is quite common on vauxhalls, its done it on mine and my gfs mums vectra

mine started doing this on astra , its a pain in the arse because alarm activates even if you lock it with the key, but doent de activate, so every time you open the door it looks like your stealing it with alarm wailing
