hi everyone

around 2 and a bit months ago my engine decided to die on me at the worst possible moment and i got to the stage where i didnt want it anymore plus im still at that stage now. I was f*cked off to high heaven when that happened. And when i got it back home i couldn't decide on wether to sell it as a non-runner or getting it fixed to sell. At the time i thought to sell it as a non runner but i've been advised not to go there and i wouldn't get a lot for it. So i took up on my mum and dads offer so they pay for it to get it fixed then i pay them back. So its at the garage where i usually go to and my dad knows the owners quite well as he uses them as well.

To this pressent day i havent got my car back yet which is f**king annoying me to the max and it doesnt help that my dad said to them that theres no rush at all and i when i found out i thought " jesus f**king christ" ( sorry to cause offence its how i felt at the time) and the reasons it taking so long is due to the parts is hard to get hold and its a really tricky engine to do "apparantley". i've been waiting for ages and its been there since december. I just want peoples thoughts about the situation that im in at the moment. I drive a corsa sport 1.416v by the way.

Sorry for the essay

p.s is it true that parts for my car is hard to get hold off?

odd, it takes me 12 hours to remove and completely strip and rebuild a 1.4/1.6 inc rebore, crank regring, fully rebuilt cylinder head etc...

ALL parts are simple to get within 24 hours.

thats what i thought plus it didn't help thanks to my so called dad that theres no rush for it back. Plus the mechanics there who my dad knows well says that its a fiddly job and so on and so forth im just slightly wound up about the whole situation.
