I looking to reshell my corsa. It's a 1998 1.6 sport.

I've been offered a v-reg 1.0litre shell for a good price.

I'm sure I remember there are small differences between the shells of different models but I'm not certain (as in rear seat mountings etc).

Can anyone clear up this issue for me?

Engine wise is not an issue as I'm swapping to an LET.

Thanks in advance.

1998 Sport and 2000 Shell are both Post 97, so nothing will be different. Both with have black dashes, strengthened B pillars, same rear seat mountings.

Even if it doesn't have a 60/40 split you can still fit your 60/40 seats coz the holes are still there.

I fitted my Sport seats (front and rear) into my mates Merit. Just need to use the bolts that were in the 60/40 seats. Plus the boot carpet (there is a cut out for the 60/40 bit).

Same place. If he's reshelling then he can use what he already has.

So apart from the seat mountings in the rear, everything else on the car is identical?

Cheers for the help so far.
