Finally got round to watching this and I must say I thought it was an absolute pile of steaming dog shit. What a waste of 1hr 44mins. It wasn't clever, funny, interesting, or cool; it was just shit. Also very random and too gun happy.
Good cast, shit film.
Yours,
Barry Norman.

Its about Buddy Israel, a Vegas showman/magician who is the target of a 'hit'.

Yup, it had so much potential. But it wasn't pulled off at all. Shame, I thought I'd like it. I like slick action films.

films are always very context based - learnt in media films are often tweaked to set in with modern themes.
America's always been iffy with russia, and recently russia's been flexing his muscles.
Remember months ago about russian bombers being caught in our airspace and stuff?

not really/ most people wouldnt have a clue whats what.
like zombie films were all about ocmmunism when it came out.
but yeh, themes usually address issues happening at the time.
For example.....the Sci-fi genre was made because of fear and amazement of technologies being invented like jet planes and shit like that.
