Hi all,

I got the 1.4 (X14XE) engine but would like to upgrade to the X16XE engine.

Can i just get the 16XE engine block and plonk it in there and then swap over the ECU or is there more?

cheers

Also, it has a factory alarm and a secondary alarm.

These won't be affected in anyway will they if the engine gets changed?? Just a case of wiring them back up (assuming) via the loom!?

to be honest it would be much easier to buy a complete 1.6 and put it then, then sell your 1.4
