If anyone listens to the Annie Mac show on Radio1 on a friday night you'll know all about how awesome these mini-mixes are, and also that by going to her page on the Radio1 website after the show you can download them (either via podcast or just normally) - Last Friday nights one they had 6 of the best mini-mixes from 2007 and you can download a mp3 with them all on - the Mitchell Brothers tribute to Michael Jackson is fucking awesome and the Hadoken one is damn good aswell.
The point of this thread? Well it's to advise people to go and download them before they are taken off the site and to ask if anyone else has some of the mini-mixes from earlier in the year? Want to make a compilation of the best ones

How do you go about saving them?
When I click the Download button it just plays them in WMP

Right click the download link Danny - select "Save as..." Job done

I have the first 10 in the car, they're the only CDs in it pretty much, they never get old.

Hamish, to get the latest Mini Mix from the offical website, goto:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/podcasts/r1mix/
Near the bottom where it says "Latest Episode", look under for the "Download Episode" button - right click that button, select "Save Target As..." and choose where you want to save it, it should then download the mp3 to your PC, but they only have the latest one on there so be quick as it'll be gone in just over 24 hours when the new show has gone to air.

I like the Hadoken and Mitchell Bros ones, the others weren't that great - The Mark Ronson one was well done, very well done, but a tad boring?
I actuallly love listening to the whole show, so many cool tunes on there that you just don't normally hear on other radio shows.

friday nights are awesome on radio 1 now, usually have it on if im stuck in the garage working. loved the hadouken mix. not really what i expected them to mix tbh. cool none the less.
