Just awoken from my pit, car was filthy last night, just been outside and its sparkling clean 
My step-dad got bored so he gave it wash, polish, & full clean inside

im exactly the same, i find it faster washing the car on my own, if someone helps i end up doing the bits they missed.
the g/f hates cleaning the car... good enough for me
