why do people allow small children alone with dogs any breed, i mean the women only had the dog a short while. some people need to learn about dogs more. You never leave young kids with any breed of dog

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/7163696.stm

some people do my head in.

I do not blame the dog at all, the owners should not allowed kids round the dog and specially alone. specailly when only had the dog for short while.

i work in kennels and we have tons of breeds of dogs that have a bad name, we get security and prisons dogs and only dogs i have being bitten by are the small ones, so its not just the big dogs, its just the small dogs the news dont bother with. ffs i even got a black eye by a springer spaniel

When I had a Labrador/Collie cross he was a vicious little bastard when children approached him. We knew that so pulled him away or told their parents he wasn't good with children. If he had ever bitten someone it would have been entirely our fault as we knew what he was like. He never bit anyone as he was never left.

Lol leaving a child alone with a dog, that makes sense if a dog shits on your lawn its your responsibility to pick it up so if your dog bites somone yyou should take the punishment for not looking after it properly.

My parents bought me a border collie when i was about 9 because they thought they where nice dorsile dogs, how wrong where they been hospital few times since with dog bites but i still love my dog could never have it put down

There were 4 kids in that house at the time.

What dickhead would leave 4 kids under the age of 16 with a 1 year old...

They have no control whatsoever!

The parents fault IMO

All these 'warrior' dogs are owned by chavs and pikeys living on council estates. Not surprised these sort of things happen, they family wouldn't have a decent brain cell between them. Poor kid RIP.

Sad to say but the fuckwitts laid the path to destruction for that poor baby. The police marksmen should have shot the parents for being a danger.....not the dog!!
