2.5 or 3.0 v6 im sure the 2.5 is about 170bhp? xe is 150bhp standard, for sum reason the xe appeals to me more as im lacking knowledge on the v6 engine!!

v6 need a custom exhaust manifold as they fowl the steering rack to my knowledge.

in general v6 alot more expensive to convert,

xe and lets more potential power, lighter than the v6 engines and cheaper

I heard the V6 isn't too bad. But can be costly with the exhaust though.

On the other hand they do look great in a Corsa engine bay

for arguments sake lets say the 2.5..

everyone seems to have an xe, tbh whatever i chose would be in standard form, but the v6 does look so much better in the engine bay

performance wise what are you aiming for kurt? A straight line hauler? Or good all round performance(handling etc)? If all round peformance i would advise against the v6 in a corsa. Why does everyone go for xe's? Because the work so well.

oh and. Xe- around 150bhp and V6 c25xe - 169bhp but can be upt to 200ish easily. Insurance wise, xe at 19 with 1yrs no claims was just under 2k and to change to v6 in an astra was £190 more at same age. To actually buy the engine and box etc they are roughly the same price mate.
