Who do you think would win? Corsa has a decat, full system and seats taken out of the back. Before it all starts dont go off on one about racing!

Astra is 130odd bhp iirc, but if the corsa is stripped, it makes a massive difference so my money is on the corsa.

Go find out (on a private road of course!) And let us know

I wouldnt be at all suprised if the astra lost; a lot of the time, I find if I drive my 1.4 sport well and all the gears go in, I can keep up with most 1.6's (obviously excluding some things) and 1.9 diesels up to a speed. So a 1.6 I imagine to be fairly nippy decatted and what not.

And 1.9 diesels? Im sorry but my Ibiza has outpulled some lil 2.0 hot hatches (not saying I wiped the floor with them, but the torque has beaten them).

1.4 sports are fairly gud against cars of the same age that are 1.6's...i checked out alot of options when looking and the arent many N/A 1.4's that are faster...prove me wrong but cant remember seeing many...1.6's are same against them too like...as for whether it wud have a 1.8 is totally dependant on driving...but whys it matter? haha
