Nothing very spectacular for me im afraid

Cambelt went on my 1.4 and bent 16 valves

Bought this damaged calibra supposed to still be running but i never tried it. Look at that oil filter luckily the engine was fine!

Then bought a calibra turbo as a non runner!

Hmm turned out to be slightly more serious!

Had chucked two rods and all this was supposed to have happened whilst ticking over at traffic lights with no noise at all!!

I anhilated 3 Punto gearboxes and then the engine.

No pics but ha just gone onto A1 when I heard a rattling noise, turned out the tappet for cylinder two had snapped in half on exhaust valve, next thing I knew was a bang and bits flyin out from under car, lost all power looked when it was towed home, massive hole on the engine block and no piston, half the piston rod missing, and someone on here told me the 8v engines don't die, shows you what comes from what I reckoned was a an engine that wasn't modded by the last owner very well. (was a Corsa SRi)
