its just struck me as the most pointless thing ever?
i used to go all the time when i was 18, but that was really to check out the fanny if im honest.
apart from that whats good? you cant speak to anyone, theres no band or such to watch, all you get to do is shuffle around like morons

going down the pub is far more sociable then clubbing

I agree, nightclubs are shit for socialising. It's also virtually impossible to meet a nice girl and get to know them properly there.
The only advantage to a nightclub over a traditional pub is that they're open till 4/5/6 AM.

if you want to go out for a social then yes a pub is more ideal than a club. You're at the age where you see clubbing is pointless and it isn't your scene anymore. You're older and wiser now so have some pipe and slippers and put your feet up

i agree steve, biggest waste of money ever.
Used to go most weeks with mates, dident really enjoy it then, much prefer these days just relaxing in the pub.
clubbings far to noisy, full of wankers (alot of the time), smells, Got to many homos on pills around you, very expensive

i don't like it either steve, your not alone, and i'm only 19, nearly 20 
i prefer a quiet night in or going cinema or for a meal with your missus, get much more satisfaction out of that.
clubbing is just boring for me and when i've gone i always spend more than 100 quid on drinks which is not cool
