Anyone here dealt with www.alloywheels.com ?? thinking off buying a set off alloys / tyres from them via mail order just wonder if anyone has dealt with them can advise if they are a good enough company to deal with ??

yes i bought my wheels for my old corsa from them. they used to be called rochford tyres.

very good service and i went to the shop for free fitting and balancing.

I have bought tyres from the, which were delivered for free, and quickly! Had no problems at all with them, definitely would do business again.

Okay thanks for that almost sure I will order them from this company then just have to decide which ones to go for ??!!

do alloys have to be balanced actually on the car ?? its just that thay say that all mail order alloy / wheel packages are supplied with the wheels balanced - bit confused ??

Nah they balance the wheels on their own mate so they will come ready to bolt onto your car.

i live five minutes away from these guys, have bought loads of stuff from them. good prices and stuff, but tbh the guys in there are the most miserable bastards ive ever seen! lol. they did actually muck my mate around quite a bit, but personally, ive never had a problem other than feeling depressed in the shop, lol...

Funny enough from my quick phone call to them today I was cut off once in mid conversation phoned back no appology and well overall they were not the most pleasant sales staff I have dealt with !!

trust me they are great, had a problem with corrosion on my wheels and they tok them straight back and put new ones on.
