Just had a call to say that after 9 long months in the repair shop, and £460 later he's ready to bring home

Next dilema is, do I sell it as it is or do I keep it? It needs a few hundred £'s spent on the bodywork (rust mainly in the boot) and won't pass an MOT until thats sorted. Can't decide whether to cut our losses and sell it as it stands, or spend more cash to get it through an MOT and take it from there?

Yeah, its been a nightmare. The guy has mucked us around for 9 months, its lay outside in his yard all that time. Mum kinda blew her top at him two weeks ago, and hey presto he eventually got round to fixing it - engine wise!! Still got the bodywork to sort out though And £460 to find to pay him a few days before Christmas Think I might make him wait for 9 months!

I was welding at work yesterday Dont sell it without an mot, get the wee bits done then flog it for as much as possible!!
