Bought a car, signed the agreement, all the other papers.....

1 week later they say they forgot to get my bank details, if i dont give them by 12 2morro they will cancel the finance agreement..

I will give them the details but was just wondering what would happen if i said no F Off.......and keep the car....

You wouldn't be able to keep the car, as you signed the finance agreement to be able to take ownership of the car.

It will say in the agreement that the car will be used as a guarantee for the agreement, so if you stop making payments they will reposess the car from you.

The finance company said they will close the agreement if the bank details are not supplied 2morro. they only told me yesterday and i have had the car since friday.

The agreement is your agreement to pay in the same way it's their agreement to give you the car.

No pay = no authority to have the car = theft.

I would imagine they will recover it and probably bill you for costs in doing so, or perhaps even go legal repossession which will frog your credit score for years to come.

There is no loophole that gets you a free car.

I thank you!!!......... Woth a try, you hear about dodgy loopholes.... Just thought coz they give me the car without a payment method.

Its called an agreement because there are two sides to it. If it was called a bill and they forgot to give you it perhaps things would be different

Totally agree with that....however given the OP's comments

'Bought a car, signed the agreement, all the other papers.....'

I would be very wary about giving giving bank details over the phone
