depens what car its on. the esp on the c2 vts is so intusive its dangerous, you can be flying around a corner and it will just cut the power causing the car to become unstable and shoot the rear end out.
the esp in the vag cars is quite good tho letting you make use of the power you can use.

Very true I have had lots of fun with mine! And it only cuts in sometimes! Seen me understeering loads and nothing then another time will slide a little and it goes crzy, if you put your foot down in the wet it is terrible, like kangaroo petrol, power on, off, on off!! Jerky as anything!!
Cheers

The Clios is VERY intrusive, cant turn it off (bar pulling the fuse).
Always found the VAG ESP very good for normal driving, does get intrusive in the wet.

Quite intrusive on dad's M3. Whenever you put your foot down, and I mean really booting it on an uneven road, you get a proper disco going on in the dash.
I think the flashing light is probably more dangerous than the programme.
Get a 12v GLS, no such fandangles, just you, the car, and the road
