I've written my VTR off and the ins company said i can have my alloys as long as i replace them with something. My suggestion of bricks didnt go down very well, so i need to put some steelies on from somewhere, anyone know a good place thy can recommend, pref in bedfordshire area

Go to a local scrap yard and get 4 of their 'finest'

£25 per wheel with tyres?, don't think that is too bad. Depends on how much your current alloys are worth with tyres?.

may aswell just pay for alloys ureself...steelies are like £25 each with tyres that wot missus paid recently...they need the cash these days or summat haha

£100 for four steelies... What a rip off! I paid £20 for 4 at my local scrappy. Wasn't going to argue at that price..

A5 Salvage just past the Leighton Buzzard bypass turning, heading towards MK. They do alot of french cars there.

might be able to pick a set up cheap!

or do what i did when i scrapped my makr 2 astra, just lob on any old wheels you find at the side of the road and do 1 bolt up bloody tight!
