Bought a car on saturday night, got it insured today but cant tax it until tomorrow and thats even if my cover note turns up tomorrow

Would that be an XE corsa by any chance

I know what you mean. I have had my GSI nearly 3 months now still no sign of log book also tax runs out at the end of the month

Can't you use the new keeper slip? or do it online with the reminder form.

I still haven't received the form to say the car needs taxing even though on the disk its says 31.12.2007

Ive tried with the reminder form but it says you cant do it that way if you've only just bought the car as you need to do it with the full logbook and the car wont be regestered in my name yet

I have always used the full log book. Never done it online.

If you didnt write on your new keeper slip in pen, write their details in pencil and use their cover note.

i payed a mate to drive me upto my nearest insurnce branch and made them print me a cova note off lmfao! it does suck balls tho that way, should all be on pc by now!

Had exactly the same with my new corsa sport. But it was the insurance that fooked up by delaying my cover note
