why the fuck are they blockading the refineries FFS stupid people. Have they not looked at those simple diagrams that explain why the fuel price is so high, it isn't BP or whoevers fault its Gordon Brown

What else are you meant to do? Blocking oil companies will effect the government as they won't get any tax from sales. I guess you could kidnapp Gordon Brown?

I wouldn't mind paying a premium for fuel if public transport wasn't as shit as it is. Where I live theres no way to get to my work without taking a taxi, bus, ferry, train, bicycle and a plane.

I do mind paying a premium even if public transport was good. European countries have decent public transport AND cheaper fuel!
