before mot could well help getting the emissions down.

when the engine was whapped in, i decided to try Dave A's suggestion and leave the nova's ARB off as it can inprove handling and my god it does!

There is a hell of a lot more traction in and out of the corners, and strangely a cheeky bit of oversteer coming out!
Tested on small and large roundabouts and tight country roads on the test drive with mark so its legal from the garage and feels totally new.

Don't know if the corsa ARB is the same but i think handlings better without it with the XE in. There isnt even really much more body roll!

Anyway just thought i'd share this as i thought it wouldn't be to my liking but now its staying off

corsa has the same setup as a nova, front and rear...

from personal experiance, i'd take front off and leave the rear on

thats how mines set up now not sure whether to get a top strut? Would it stiffen it but still keep the traction? I.E - not be as shite as the ARB?

Also getting a rear strut

best way

my nova was the same, and wasn't too bad, with a shitty suspension kit, and a valver.

Felt better than my old sri, which was lowered and still had front arb on it


strut brace will help, it's the design of the arb with makes it crap, hence why people take them off

make the the rear bolt's to the side's of the turret's and not where the suspension bolt's on..

the latter do fuck all for handling, as it will still move on the rubber's holding suspension struts on

simple drill in operation???

i.e bolt on top of suspension then drill into turret too?

no you get them that go on the top..

then you get some the bolt lower down on the side's of the turret's..

you'll want the one that bolt's on side.

Simple case of drilling holes in the suspension tower then bolting in? Also if I got the bolt on side one would it be worth while keeping the top mounted one aswell as the side mounted one?

Ive got a GSI front arb, was going to fit it, best bet to leave it off? Ive got the GSI rear ARB on now, thinking of getting a whiteline one, but for a 1.2 8v, is it worth it

Didn't think the GSI front ARB was any different to the normal corsa ones? Thought it was just the rear one that was different?
